1. By the end of this week we will update the website and notify our list that we have closed our beta-period to new applicants. We will be launching the re-structured version of Galahads in January. Prospective members will still be able to download free application quest and prepare their applications – we will notify them when Galahads has re-opened. We will continue to offer our kick-ass free stuff series.
How does this impact Masters: It doesn’t. You can still continue to refer potential Galahads. All of your referral partner links remain in place and active. You will still be fully promoted during the “nurturing” sequences of the marketing lifecycle.
2. We will notify all current members that we have converted them to “Founder Members” and we will be waiving their membership dues until we launch the restructured Galahads in January. Since the re-structuring period will take focus and energy away from providing the full impact of The Galahad experience, we are not comfortable keeping dues in place. 90% of the existing benefits will remain in place throughout the re-structuring, but I believe that you deliver exactly what you promise.
How does this impact Masters: It doesn’t. We will still honor the referral payments for any existing member referred to us by a Master.
3. We will spend the next few months re-structuring the program. Of course the following is subject to change but here is the plan as it stands today:
- The application and a basic membership becomes free. The application remains as robust and challenging as it is today. The major core value behind The Galahads is the assurance that all of the members are truly kick-ass. Removing the application fee allows us to become even more selective around those members that we accept. We have had a lot of interest from potential Galahads in experiencing Camelot without the commitment of the Roundtable Experience. The initial way the offer was structured does not allow for a lower price point for a customized ”Camelot Only” offer but we want as many kick-ass women as we can get – if you can get through the application process, Camelot is free.
How does this impact Masters: The existing referral payment program will be slightly re-structured – payments will still be made to Masters on all products purchased within the Galahads environment but the monthly recurring fee will only apply for those members that purchase the Roundtable. Masters will still be able to offer their own products for sales within the Galahads “Quest” environment. We will send a revised agreement to those of you who participate as a referring Master.
- The Roundtable Experience becomes $99/month versus the current price of $49/month. We have learned that even at this price the Roundtable Experience is under-valued but we would like to get as many Galahads in a chair at a roundtable as possible. Existing Galahads will be given the option to continue in their roundtable at the original $49/month price, but will not be charged until the re-launch.
How does this impact Masters: The Masters will still receive $25/month recurring referral payments for any member they have referred that actively participates in a Roundtable.
- Camelot will be improved in many areas based on the feedback and wisdom we have gained from the user base so far. We will keep you updated on the changes as they are designed, implemented and released.
How does this impact Masters: A better networking/gaming experience for you and every Galahad that you refer.
- The Masters Blog will be made public. Obviously without Erica’s “feet-on-the-street”, our current marketing strategy, we need some help in the marketing space. We will be building up the blog in an effort to provide a fantastic resource to all women entrepreneurs who are, or are striving to become, Galahads. We will have some posts and resources available only to the Galahad community but for the most part will convert the blog to a marketing tool.
How does this impact Masters: This is great news for you. It means that we will be able to quickly expand your potential audience by promoting you and your work to any visitor to the Galahads blog, not just internal Galahads members. With the opportunities to guest post restricted exclusively to Masters Of The Order, the blog provides a unique platform to spread your message in to a new community.
